Merry Christmas Everyone!
2020 was definitely an interesting year for all of us. What a year it was, right? First, bushfires were raging across Australia for months. As a result, one billion animals died. Right after that, from nowhere, the global Coronavirus pandemic showed up. Negative consequences took over the whole world as people’s grief, trauma, sickness, depression, divorce, the suicide rate increased. On top of all this, the fires of California, sports put on hold, stadiums remaining empty, the entertainment industry freezing, racial tensions over police brutality reaching a boiling point, crazy bitter political campaigns, allegations of fraud and illegal voting, and 22 million Americans lost their job.
Such a painful year. Not much good news that we remember. But in the midst of the disasters, there was courage, and there was the grace of God, there was faith, there was a sacrifice, and there was hope. Some people faced the very worst but still rose to be the very best.
No matter how difficult the year 2020 was, we have many blessings that we can be thankful for.
Today, I choose to be thankful for every blessing that God has provided me. This Christmas, I encourage everyone to count blessings and enjoy family.
I am also looking forward to 2021, excited to see what God has for us. Let’s end this year by simply saying, “I am blessed!”
We hope you have a Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
