Golden Eagle Family! Happy Thanksgiving!
Thanksgiving is the holiday where we get to spend time with our family and friends as we reflect on the things that we are thankful for. Here are several things that I am grateful for this Thanksgiving.
Going through life, unexpected life storms, as difficult as it can be, should never be done alone. Relationships, fellowship, and family are the most important when it comes to one’s happiness. Material things never can bring us ultimate happiness. We all struggle, and all sometimes need someone to hold you hand and show some acknowledgment of love & support so we can recognize we are not alone. I have found that surrounding myself with people who are loving and are positive has helped me appreciate life more. I am thankful for that.
I am thankful for my God. He never leave me nor forsake me. He will always love me.
I am thankful for my family, who love and support me.
I am thankful for my found passion of teaching Taekwondo and true purpose to help others.
I am thankful for being given the opportunity to accept who I am and be proud of myself.
I am thankful that all the people in which I care for are around me.
Many night I recognize some students coming to train after rough day, we sweat together, we shout together, and we never let anyone give up! The satisfaction in making someone else smile, or turning their day around, is wonderful and rewarding.
For this Thanksgiving day, I say smile at anyone you see. Someone may be having a terrible day, they may be struggling, and wanting to give up. Any form of kindness may help that person to keep pushing. Maybe that person will be thankful for having met you.
Have a happy Thanksgiving Golden Eagle family!
